House of Literature Bookmobile

This is the place I share book (movie) selections and reviews I have found worth mentioning. I'll also share gleanings of family life, faith, home education, and ongoing writing projects. Book selections will include children's books, books on home education, Catholic books, classics, series, raising children, and books that are made for reading under a shady oak tree with lemonade, in a bubble bath with a latte', or next to a snuggly fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa.     Hey Cay did you know that the rate hike isn't just stamps but pretty much everything? I didn't realize it until I was at the post office the other day. Flat rate mailers are going up to $4.05 from $3.85 and flat rate boxes to $8.10 from $7.70. Yikes! This means some of us small businesses that ship are going to have to raise rates too. I hate doing that!

    That shows us that the cost is always brought back to the consumer. Prices go up, businesses have to raise prices to cover the increase and consumers have to pay for it. No way around it.

    Good lesson to discuss with our dc.
